„Genero
género“ is a performance that works over two areas. In one
hand I use Butler and Preciado `s wrtings
to deconstruct the representation of gender in a widely sold bestseller , I
analize the book Fifty Shades of Grey breaking it down in pieces and
representing them. The result is a piece in which the stereotypical repetition
of dialogs and behaiviours gets exposed as ridiculous and terrifying.

The poetry of the law 2012

31de Agosto, 19:00 pm
Parque de Santa Catalina, Las Palmas, SpainThe Spanish Constitution dates from 1978 but its origins, the Constitution of 1812 (La Pepa), has this year its two hundred anniversary. Laws are normally dry textes far from poesy, in this piece I transform the Universal Righrs of this Constitution in small poems that I will recite in the streets. Where begins the poetry, where ends the meaning and what is the law...In a time where civil and fundamental rights are been questioned.
La poesía de la ley, 2012
rosa mesa

Gone with the wind, 2012
Everybody knows the title of this film, its intensity has more to do with the historical moment that depicts that with the film itself. The background a deeply troubled society. The piece, an hibrid between, public intervention, performance and installation. It challenges the audience with the wind as the symbol of power and never ending energy. In the piece, strenght, desire and changes dialog to represent the option of change or innovation.

Tired of Counting, 2011
Everything is reduce to money, Economy and numbers so it is life. The repetition, the emptiness invades our understanding of a world that tries to give economical value to everything on it.
Since childhood I have a conflict with numbers, they bore me, the abstraction of them move me away from the real, from what I consider real, from emotions, people, nature, life... In an economical world, everything is tiresome, jobs are transform in a parody, trap in this realm man can only count.

"Stained" 2011
This is the third and last performance from the series I hate white, a trilogie dealing with nationalism, racism and violence. This piece was presented at Kurt Kurt Forever in Sant Denis.
The piece deals with the idea of Tacheé(Stained, Manchados), the idea of being somehow a visible minority and with the destruction of the idols, the symbols and those icons that we though once untouchable.
